While perusing some software choice on the internet, I came across some very...interesting stuff and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why I would need any of them.
1. Internet download manager.
Now why would I need a program to download stuff from the internet? I know how to download things. There are links all over the place to download things. Why do I need a program to do it for me? Now I haven't looked at this program, in fact I'm quite afraid to download it onto my machine for fear of getting some virus / trojan / keylogger / etc.
2. Snappy Driver Installer.
Another "Why do I need this?" I'm quite sure all my drivers are on my machine and either Windows or the manufacture will have updates for them when needed. So why do I need this program? Again, I am frightened to download it.
These are just a couple of programs I have seen wanting me to download them for one reason or another. I can only speculate on why.
So be careful out there. Suspect bad programs when they shout "DOWNLOAD ME".
